Treetop Quest Safety
Treetop Quest uses a continuous belay system, meaning once you’re clipped in, you’re secure the whole way through. There’s no way to accidentally unclip, so you can focus on having fun. This setup allows kids as young as four to join the adventure!
The staff adjusts your harness and straps; you don’t have to do a thing except put on your gloves and helmet. Everyone starts with a safety briefing to get familiar with the gear, followed by a practice run to get the hang of things before heading off on your self-guided adventure. (Staff isn’t up in the trees with you, but they keep an eye on everything from the ground.)
My Treetop Adventure Park Experience
LEVEL 1: I kicked things off with the Level 1 beginner’s course, which had 14 obstacles, including three ziplines. It was the perfect warm-up for the treetop playground and gave me the confidence to try something more challenging. I felt like a kid all over again!
Thanks to the continuous belay system, I could go at my own pace without waiting for a guide’s green light. I zoomed through some obstacles and took my time on others. My favorites were the tight ropes, cargo nets, and, of course, the ziplines!
LEVEL 3: I was tempted by the Level 2 courses, but with limited time, I jumped straight into Level 3, which was basically all ziplines! There was a short Tarzan swing to reach one of the platforms—not my favorite since my arm strength isn’t the best. But the dozen or so ziplines totally made up for it—they were an absolute blast!
